When Jesus raised his friend Lazarus from the dead, he bid the onlookers to unbind Lazarus. But when Jesus was raised from the dead, God did the both the raising and the unbinding. When we help unbind others, we prefigure God’s action with us. We practice resurrection in our lives and other’s.
